Keeper

I'm the Keeper of the stories.
But, I'm known by the name,
Counselor.
One by one
they come
to entrust to me
their stories
that have become parts of their souls.
It is not easy
to be the Keeper,
but we Keepers know
that the Master will one day come calling
and will want to know about the care
or lack thereof
with which we kept
their stories.
